If you want to offer Afterpay as a BNPL (Buy Now, Pay Later) method of payment this document outlines how you can get that setup.
At this time, you can offer Afterpay in-store only (not currently available for the WebStore). No involvement is actually needed from The Uniform Solution and contact will be between you and Afterpay.
Afterpay Setup
To begin you need to reach out to Brandon Valmores at Afterpay by email letting him know you want to be setup with Afterpay and are a Uniform Solution client.

Process for Merchants
You will need a merchant account with Afterpay which Brandon and his team at Afterpay will help setup.
- You will connect with Brandon at Afterpay.
- Merchant will fill out an onboarding form with Afterpay.
- The form will be sent to Brandon and his team to verify the business to approve their merchant account (takes 3-5 business days).
- Afterpay Integration team will get Afterpay live in the merchant’s store.
- Afterpay will ask that the merchant to create a shopper Afterpay account to be able to run a test transaction on the merchant’s (existing) terminal. The test transaction will decline, and the Afterpay team will turn on the merchant account for in-store use.
- Merchant will have access to the Afterpay Business Hub where they can view detailed information about any Afterpay transactions and their fees.
- The merchant will have to pay fees to both Fullsteam and Afterpay. To Fullsteam because they are using the terminal/UniformPay to process the transaction, and to Afterpay to use their service.
Process for the Shopper
- Existing Afterpay shoppers can use their Afterpay virtual card to pay for their purchases at checkout using tap-to-pay.
- If a shopper does not have an existing account with Afterpay, they can quickly create one.
- Shopper will need to download the Afterpay app and sign up for an account.
- Afterpay will do a “soft pull” credit check. It does not affect that person’s credit score and does not show up on any reporting.
- The approval is instantaneous. Afterpay has a 95% approval rating.
- Shopper will be approved for an credit limit (typically $600 for first use). The amount can go up over time. Shoppers will know their limit through the Afterpay app before they go to checkout.
- Shopper pays Afterpay over time for their purchases with the merchant.
