USB Connection

Check all cables to make sure they have not come loose or have been disconnected. If the cables have become loose or have been disconnected reconnect the cables. Do not shut-down the computer. The computer should be on when connecting or disconnecting most USB devices.

Open The Uniform Solution program and go to Setup > This Computer >Hardware>Pole Display.

Make sure a check mark is in the box “ A customer pole display is connected to this computer”.

Make sure Port is set to the correct port that was created when the drivers were installed. The default setting is COM1.

Check the pole display to see if your message appears. You can reference the Device Manager on your computer to determine which COM port your USB connection is using.

Check all cables to make sure they have not come loose or have been disconnected. If the cables have become loose or have been disconnected, shut-down the computer before reconnecting any cables to the decoder box or to the computer. When all cables have been reconnected, turn the computer on.

After you have checked all the connections, cables and setup in The Uniform Solution program and if the pole display is still not working, refer to any manuals that came with your pole display or call Diamond Data Systems.
