Store Numbers in The Uniform Solution

Need to Add a Store, Delete a Store or Renumber a Store?

Adding a New Store to the Store List
Adding a New Store is easy in The Uniform Solution. To add a store you will want to contact our Sales Team to purchase the proper license to fit your needs. Once the license has been created by the Sales team you can go to Setup > Store > Store List. From there you can click on the Drop Down in the lower left corner labeled Store and Add a New Store. Select the next chronological number or pick another number if that makes sense for your business. Give your new store a Reference Name which would be something like Store 2. If the new store is going to be a brick and mortar store and is cloud based, it will most likely be a Local Store. If you're going to be running a mobile on-site store or setting up a desktop environment it will most likely be a Remote Location. Don't hesitate to reach out to our support team for clarification on this if needed. From there, you will just want to complete the address information and complete the following tabs, which will all create settings specific to your new store:

-Defaults -Messages -Pricing -Options -Web Server -Payments -Access

Deleting an Existing Store
To Delete a Store From the Store List, navigate to Setup > Store > Store List. Highlight the Store that you would like to delete, right click and Delete Store. -Note: Deleting a Store DOES NOT remove any data from Customer and Sales records. It will simply remove the store from the Store List so that store will no longer show data when running reports or looking at various lists. If there is a need to see that data again, simply add the store back to the Store List as a New Store using the Same Store number previously assigned.
Store Renumbering
Although it is rare, on occasion, the need may arise to have a store re-numbered. This will require a support team member to assist in the process of changing the store number. If a remote location(s) is involved this will REQUIRE the change be made at all POLLING AND REMOTE locations before the next batch is completed.
