✅ Running a Test Transaction to Verify UniformPay Integration

After configuring UniformPay, it’s important to run a test transaction to ensure the integration between The Uniform Solution (TUS) and your payment terminal is functioning correctly.

🧪 Steps to Run a Test Transaction

1. Create a New Sale

   • Add a Miscellaneous Item (*.01 in Scan/QTY Field) to the sale and price it at $0.01

1. Proceed to the Payment Screen

   • You will have two test options:

   a. Manual Entry Form Test (Virtual Terminal)

   1. Check the box labeled:
      ✅ F5 – Use Manual Entry Form
      

   b. Terminal Transaction Test

   • Uncheck the F5 – Use Manual Entry Form box

   • Proceed to test with a connected credit card terminal

2. Complete the Transaction

   • Select F5-Payment and complete the payment.

     • Swipe

     • Tap

     • Insert (chip)

3. Confirm the Result

   • Once processed, a prompt will appear showing the transaction has been Approved.
