A store‑wide discount is an easy way to run promotions such as holiday sales, customer appreciation events, or clearance events without needing to configure individual item discounts. When enabled, the system automatically applies a percentage discount to all retail items added to a sale.
This article explains how to enable and manage a store‑wide discount.
Enabling a Store‑Wide Discount

Go to Setup > Store

On the Pricing tab under the Store Discounts section, check the box that says Automatically discount retail pricing.

The Percentage adjuster will appear, and you’ll be able to decide how much you’d like to discount.

Select OK to save your changes.
Now – when you go to add in any item to a sale, it will automatically apply the discount.
