Do Not Allow Retail Prices to Change in Automatic Pricing Procedures

This document covers how to prevent an item’s price from being updated during Automated Pricing Procedures. This will allow items to get omitted when pricing is being updated via processes like the Catalog Update process or bulk pricing from the Vendor List.

  1. First, you will need to go to your “Inventory List” by selecting “Home>Item”.

  2. Now that you have accessed your “Inventory List” you can find your desired item by first changing the “Show” option to “By Brand” and selecting the magnifying glass next to “Brand” to choose your vendor.

  3. Now that you have your vendor selected you can find your desired item by clicking into the box next to “Style” at the bottom left of the screen.

  4. Once you have found your desired style, you can double click and open the style. (Note that you do not have to select a Color along with your style as all colors will get updated when you follow the next steps.
  5. After you have opened your style record you will want to go to the “2. More” tab, check the box at the bottom of the screen that says “Do not allow retail prices to change during automated pricing procedures”, and Select “OK” to save your changes.
