This guide explains how to enable decimal quantity entry for inventory items in The Uniform Solution. This is useful when working with products that require partial quantities, such as fabric, materials sold by length, or weighted goods.
Enabling this feature requires:
- Turning on decimal support in System Settings
- Configuring the Inventory Code to allow decimal quantities
Step 1: Enable Decimal Quantities in System Settings
- Navigate to: Setup → System → Inventory
- Check the box for “Enable item quantities to be entered with decimal values”
Step 2: Create/Edit a Inventory Code
- Naviagate to: Lists > Inventory Standards
- Select Code > New Code or double-click an existing code
- On the General tab under the “Decimal Quantities” section, select the desired option
- Select OK to save your changes
