🛍️WebStore Configuration – Departments

The Departments section in your POS system allows you to manage which product categories (Departments) are displayed in your WebStore. This helps organize your items, enabling customers to browse or search by specific Departments for a more efficient shopping experience.

📍 Accessing the Departments Tab

To manage departments:

1. Navigate to your POS system’s WebStore Configuration. You can do this by selecting the setup tab < WebStore < Double click into the active configuration < select the departments tab.

2. Click on the Departments tab.

   

✅ Adding Departments to the WebStore

The Departments tab is divided into two panels:

• Left Side: Displays all created Departments within your Uniform Solution.

• Right Side: Displays the Departments currently available on the WebStore.

To allow a department to be selected by customers online:

1. Highlight the desired work

2.  Departments(s) on the left panel.

3. Click the Add button.

4. The selected department(s) will move to the right panel, making them visible and selectable on the WebStore.

❌ Removing Departments from the WebStore

To prevent a department from being available to customers:

1. Highlight the department(s) in the right panel.

2. Click the Remove button.

3. The selected department(s) will be moved back to the left panel and will no longer be accessible from the WebStore.

🛍️ Set Maximum Display Limit

• You can specify the maximum number of Departments to show in the “Shop by Department” section.

• This helps control the layout and ensures the most relevant Departments are featured.
